創新科技署 – 遙距營商計劃

Under the Anti-Epidemic Fund, the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) has launched the Distance Business (D-Biz) Programme to support enterprises to continue their business and services through the adoption of IT solutions.  The Hong Kong Productivity Council is appointed as the Secretariat.

D-Biz Programme which open for application from 4 May to 31 October 2020 for a period of six months.  Members will be able to utilize the D-Biz Programme to apply for funding needed for digital transformation.

The D-Biz Programme will provide 100% funding support to qualified enterprises, subject to a cap of HK$100,000 per IT solution (related training expenses to be capped at 10% of solution cost) and HK$300,000 per enterprise. An initial payment of 30% of the approved funding amount is payable to a designated bank account after the application has been approved.

Technology experts and members in the industry with experience in providing remote business technology solutions in the market are encouraged to apply to be listed as a IT Service Provider.

With the aim to bolster local SMEs overcome the adversities triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic, SME ReachOut operated the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) will launch the first-ever “Fund Fair GO Online” from 23 to 29 April through the “HKPC Live” online platform. These efforts will be essential to the enterprises in keeping abreast to the latest HKSAR Government funding scheme information and application details anytime, anywhere, and at no cost.

The event has gained the full support from the Trade and Industry Department as well as the Innovation and Technology Commission of the HKSAR Government, to exhibit ten funding schemes provided by the Government in five days, including:

1. Distance Business Programme, under the Second Round of Anti-epidemic Fund (24, 29 April)
2. SME Export Marketing Fund (EMF) (28 April)
3. SME Financing Guarantee Scheme (SFGS) (29 April)
4. Public Sector Trial Scheme (PSTS) (27 April)
5. Technology Voucher Programme (TVP) (28 April)
6. Postdoctoral Hub for Technology Companies Conducting R&D Activities in Hong Kong (PH-TC) (24 April)
7. Researcher Programme for Technology Companies Conducting R&D Activities in Hong Kong (RP-TC) (24 April)
8. Patent Application Grant (PAG) (27 April)
9. Dedicated Fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestics Sales (BUD Fund) (23 April)
10. Retail Technology Adoption Assistance Scheme for Manpower Demand Management (ReTAAS) (23 April)
